I got my braces off!
I'm moving.
I'm going to my Grandfather's funeral this weekend.
Harry Potter World opens June 18th, not 14th.
I got my pointe shoes.
I'm not single anymore, I'm going out with a classmate of mine named James.
Life is mostly good.

Bad Blogger Bad.
Okay, I'm bad, I haven't posted in forever. So okay, here's a fill in..
I just had my 16th birthday in January.
I got moved up a level in ballet, and dropped out of tap so that I have time for my new ballet classes.
I got a boyfriend, his name is James, and we go to KNHS together.
Next week is Spring Break.
I get my braces off in the next few months.
Yeah, okay, that's a pretty good update :)

A Fill In
So competition was good, Radar got first, and qualified for nationals. My solo got second in score points, but didn't score well enough to be in the top three scores, so I didn't officially place, and I'm not qualified for nationals.
My Thanksgiving was good, nice and quiet, with lots of yummy food and watching TV.
Tonight I went down to the electric boat parade and fireworks show in Jacksonville. Totally fun. I think I'm starting to get into the Holiday Spirit now.

And I Thought I Was Ready To Faint Before....
HAH! I thought I was ready to faint before. 6 days from now I'm going to be onstage at competition doing my solo.
That's nothing to worry about.
Right?
Uh.
Yeah, right. Nothing at all to worry about.
Yikes.

Competition *faints*
Competition is just over a week away. I'm dead. I'm so dead. I'm panicking like crazy. I'm terrfied my dances won't be ready.
Okay, breathe, we can do this. It'll work out.
On a happier note, life at ballet is going well. My technique and knowledge is getting dramatically better.
And now I'm gonna go, cuz I've got nothing else to say.

UGH Insanity!
Sheesh, so somewhere between dance, school, and life, I'm actually succeeding in posting on my blog. It's a miracle! Lol
Life's pretty good, but time is pretty much never on my side. I finish school just in time to get ready for dance pretty much every day.
Down time is zip+zero+zilch.
Competition is like 6 weeks away, I'm going to Orlando with my parents in two weeks, and I'm working my backside off trying to keep up with school.
Go figure. All my favorite bands have released albums at the same time. Paramore, Muse, Green Day, they've all recently released CDs. But, of course, I can't afford to buy all of them.
Well, I think that's all I can think of..

Not Much To Say...
Well I don't have much to say today really, but I'm a terrible blogger, and I don't want to go months without writing again (BAD Kristen).
I got my learner's permit today YAYY!!! The picture isn't as bad as I expected, but it's not really good either. Still though, I have my picture ID now, and I can start learning to drive, and stuff like that... Plus the permit is totally cool looking.
Dance is going well at FBTS. I already feel like I've made a ton of progress. I also feel like my technique is getting way stronger. I'd like to be on pointe by Halloween (Christmas at the latest), and at a class C level by the start of the next dance year (end of next August). Oh yeah, I don't think I mentioned this. I have extra incentive to get up the dance class levels. There's cute boys in the levels above me :D.
School is going fairly well. Some of the subjects are fun and enjoyable, and some really not so much.
Anyhow, this is my 60th posting. Not that it's really a big deal, but hey, thought I'd mention it. It's a pretty big number for a blog that's not even a year old. Okay, I lied. It's a pathetic number. But I'm a terrible blogger, and I do the best I can.

Great, Now I Feel Guilty...
Okay, I feel bad now, I haven't posted in what, months? Yeesh. Okay, here's a comprehensive summary of what my life has been like.
I had my auditions at the Florida Ballet Training School (from here out referenced at merely FBTS, okay?). Anyhow, the Artistic Director (and I think founder) Laurie Byrd auditioned me... And she said that I was behind where I should be, but that she was amazed at how much I knew from my limited time taking ballet. So, I got in. I'm dancing with 8 and 9 year old girls, and I started on Monday the 31st. I'm going to ballet Mondays and Tuesdays, and I'm supposed to start pre pointe on Fridays, starting tomorrow.
I'm loving the ballet. I'm a little nervous about the pre pointe.
I'm only the second girl at FBTS to be accepted when she's in my below level situation. Mrs. Byrd took a big interest in her training, and she has taken one in mine too. It's a little scary really. My uniform for FBTS makes me look like a big piece of cotton candy. Pink leotard. Pink tights. Pink shoes. I'm not kidding.
I'm taking hip hop and tap at Bean School of Dance (to be known as BSD okay?). For competition I'm probably doing a jazz solo, and hip hop line, and a tap group number.
In school I'm taking:
French 1
English 2
Algebra 2
Biology
Biology Lab
World History
I'm actually kind of enjoying school. Shocking I know!

Okay, Okay, Kristen, Breathe... It's Nothing to Stress About...
OMG!
My friend Triston has been taking a summer intensive (like 8+ hours of non stop dancing) at the the Florida Ballet's training school. Apparently, they really like him and have asked him to come audition for a scholarship to the training school this fall. Well, his mom dropped my name, and.... They want me to come audition! My mom got the confirmation call today! IIIIEEEEEEE!!!
I absolutely love to dance, and the Florida Ballet's training school is the best ballet school in the state, so yeah, that definitely makes me happy. The Florida Ballet is MAJORLY hard to get into, and has like a 100% acceptance rate into colleges and professional dance companies... So yeah, this is a ENORMOUSLY big deal for me... This could very well kick off my career if I get in....
*hyperventilates*
Okay, I'm fine, just stressing... No worries... ARE YOU KIDDING!?! Yeah, I'm a little nervous... lol

I SAW HP6!
So, today I went to go see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (which is the 6th book/movie btw), with my mom, a couple of friends, and their mom. Honestly, I was rather disappointed. I mean, it was really good, and some of the scenes were spectacular, but it left a LOT of stuff out! A LOT of REALLY IMPORTANT stuff.... They also added some scenes that weren't in the book, and some of them were really good, but I think they should have spent more time explaining pieces of the book for movie(s) number seven (they're making 7 into 2, in case you weren't already aware), otherwise the next movie is gonna have NO coherant plot, and NO basis on the books. It's a good thing that they're making it into two movies, because they've got a LOT of explaining to do.
Now, on the other hand, my friend's mom said that there wasn't enough action in the movie. Umm, okay, right, Harry Potter isn't just about action. Harry Potter doesn't have enough action for you? Go into the theater next door and watch Transformers, okay? You want fantasy, and magic, and kicking the route of all evil's butt? Watch Harry Potter.
Granted, I'm still FURIOUS that they only rated this PG, meaning that they left a lot (of action, suspense, cursing, and making out) out of the movie. I mean the 5th one was PG-13, and if the movie had stayed on the story line of the book, it would have been too. Sorry, I'm a Potterhead big time, and I don't like people messing with my Harry Potter.
I am DEFINITELY not telling you not to watch this movie, you totally should. It is awesome. However, I think that they could have done a better job with it if they had made it a little longer, focused on some of the more key points, and rated it PG-13.

Nooo :(
Nooo! It's official, one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Michelle, is leaving my dance school to move to Fort Meyers with her husband, and dance partner Shay. I'm sad, because now the ballet teacher postition is up in the air, so I don't know who I'll have when the dance year starts next month. Tomorrow's my last day with Mrs. Michelle. *cries* I'll be lucky to keep my eyes dry...
