My Portfolio

Fish Drawing: I used many different drawing tools, and nothing else in this drawing. I chose heavier lines for the details such as the gills to really make the bright yellow fish pop out at you. I chose the drawing because it adds variety to my portfolio, and it has a lot of eye appeal.

Cloud Photo: I didn't edit this photo at all. I intended to show people how beautiful simple parts of nature can be. The reasons I chose this piece are that I think it's really pretty and and shows my photography skills well.

Me and Dance Double Exposure: I used crop, erase, layers, opacity, cut, and paste in this project. I intended to show one of the things I live for with my head shot to show harmony between the two. The bottom layer is a picture of a ballerina in mid-leap and the upper layer is a photo of me. I chose this project because I think it is a good representation of my understanding of balance and layers.

Filtered Heads: I used crop, erase, cut, paste, layers, and a wide array of filters. The theme is kind of wild and random, but put together at the same time. Each head in the project is a new layer on top of the white background. I chose this piece for its uniqueness and eye appeal.

Man-Eating Flower: I used crop, erase, cut, paste, and layers in this piece. This piece is really intended just to make people laugh. The bottom layer is a flower and the top layer is a photo of a cat. I think this project is really fun and shows a good focus on the main point.

Marigolds: I used crop on this photo. I was intending to show the simplistic beauty of nature I like this piece because of it's simplicity and brightness.

Sea Lion: I cropped some of the surrounding area. I love how majestic he is and the steam swirling on the right adds a very mystical feel. I chose this piece because I love how it is composed and focused.

Marina Sunset: I used crop to narrow the focus a little in this photo. The mood I intended was peace and relaxation. I chose this shot because I love the color balance and the way the dusky pink brushes the clouds and the water.

Up The Mast: I cropped this photo to adjust the focus. The intended mood was really just awe. I chose this photo because of its stark contrast to the other, colorful, natural shots in my portfolio. This one is a little harsher and less glamorous.

Astronaut Me: I used crop, erase, cut, paste, and layers in the composite. I chose this graphic because it shows good balance and alignment.
